Performing arts professional since 2005, conductor, composer and master´s degree in Arts Administration. Artistic director of DEOrquestal, collaborating with the Spanish National Orchestra and Choir (OCNE) in the educative department.
With Diffusion Ensemble, combining acoustic and digital instruments, he has conducted a wide repertoire, the CD recording of “Arte al Derecho”, guest appearances for “Veranos de la Villa Festival”, Marqués de Santillana Festival, “Inspiracion Española” a Spanish music event organised in Nederland (Hague´s Diligentia Theather) and several concerts supporting new talented composers and soloists.
Attending to the music of our time Pálmer premiered “Shimmer” of Andrew Nishikawa (Japan - USA), “Le déjà-lá de la mort” of Edith Alonso (Spain), the Spanish premieres of Partita n 2 for eight instruments of Julián Orbón and the Theresienmesse of Michael Haydn. Regularly conducts works of the most renowned Spanish composers as: M. Falla, I. Albeniz, E. Granados, J.L. Turina, T. Marco, J. Fernández Guerra, J. Zárate...
Pálmer´s highlights with European orchestras includes the “Gran Canaria Philharmonic”, “Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra”, the “Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra” (OSRTVE), “Comunidad de Madrid Symphony Orchestra” (ORCAM), “Slovenian Philharmonic”, "JONDE", “Extremadura Symphony” and “Valencia Symphony”.
First prize of the national composition contest “Ciudad de Alcobendas”. Invited to the Aspen Music Festival.
